Family Friendly Beachfront
Posted 3 Jun 2012The apartments that were beachfront had an awesome location. They were comfortable but lacking full cleanliness -- dusting especially. With children, it was especially helpful having the kitchen in the room. This place is super family friendly and we totally enjoyed being lazy all day and enjoying the beach. I want to go back with family friends and create a mini vacation weekend.

OK Hotel
Posted 14 May 2013 on HotelsWe stayed at Apartment Adria when we participated in the world championship in agility for Belgian Sheepdogs. It was actually a nice stay, but it is fairly overpriced for the quality. They did however welcome our dogs which we very much appreciated.

Central Location for the Region
Posted 13 Aug 2010The bungalows are just a small part of a mega-complex with hotels, camping, caravans, etc.. However, they stand in a nice waterfront location. The location in Ankaran is close to both Piran and Trieste, which is good.
The room had a nasty stink (like old, unwashed feet) upon entering...but after opening the windows we could more or less air it out.
Breakfast was weird...we couldn't sit outside although I see no reason why this is not allowed (there are tables, the weather is nice, its right next to the breakfast room...). The coffee was second-rate, the offering of food was mainly sausage-based.
All in all, a nice location...gets the job done. But I can't imagine spending weeks there as some do apparently.
