The only reason I can see why you would stay here is to enjoy the equestrian stable they have on site. We spent three nights with two full riding days. Breakfast was included, and we had dinners here. We went to town for lunch and to sightsee the lake area. They have a large above ground swimming pool that is nice to cool down after the morning ride. We were the only occupants who stayed and rode. There were some local riders, and a few locals who stayed with their dogs for a pet vacation. Place under utilized. More like a farmhouse with rustic furniture that may need tlc. Need car to get here, otherwise train to town then taxi ride. We used goggle map, Siri sent us to wrong local thrice!

A comfortable hotel in a magical setting
Posted 26 Oct 2012
Pros: Comfortable bedroom, enchanting environment, delicious food. The staff are very helpful and polite, beautiful grounds.
Location: approx 30 kilometres outside Rome situated by beautiful lake Bracciano in very quiet, peaceful setting, horses on hills as you approach the hotel.
I visited this hotel with my mother and sister and we thoroughly recommend it for its caring and interesting atmosphere. The ambience is magical, it is beautifully and tastefully decorated with many unusual equestrian paintings and scruptures decorating the corridors. The grounds are fabulous. Although we were only staying a night and left early the next morning. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast; dinner comprised organic meat and vegetables grown on the estate, which was beautifully cooked. All the staff were extremely helpful and obliging. I would recommend this hotel to anyone desiring comfort, and good food in a charming and beautiful setting. The staff were always on hand to make our stay welcoming, happy and comfortable. This is a very special hotel.

A good place to spend a few days
Posted 30 Sep 2012 on HotelsWe arrived late and so did not see the comprehensive horseriding and other outdoor facilities provided from this hotel until we were leaving the following morning. There are also very good spa treatment facilities available here, so it's would appear to be more worthwhile spending a few days here rather than using it just as an overnight stop, which seems to waste the opportunites available. Cheese is also made in the onsite farm.

Quiet and Tranquil
Posted 21 Jul 2010 on HotelsApart from the rooms which are dark
And without views(except for the more
Expensive Suites)this Small 28 room
Hotel is very restful in a quiet location about
5 minutes from town.
Most bedrooms dark without views although
The Suites are much better but cost more.
Staff are exceptionally friendly and try
very hard to make you welcome.
Dining is rather expensive but the
Restaurant is comfortable and pleasant to
sit in.
Buffet Breakfast can be taken inside or outside on
Very acceptable for a short stay especially
If you like horse riding as there are over 60
Horses available at the Hotel's equestrian
Centre .
Visit was in July 2010
Norman
the Terrace and is very acceptable.
