Just wanted budget accomodation and was surprised that facilities were so good and that place was clean quiet and comfortable which is what you need after a days sightseeing
Room was small but you cannot win them all

I stayed for the October half term. It was lovely. This hotel is great value for money and in a great location, 5 mins walk from the beaches.

Pros: Great location and facilities
Cons: Nothing really - it's not super modern though but this is reflected in the price and I would rather stay somewhere which is affordable.
Location: Great, beaches, surfing, I came to surf and surfed everyday :-) there are cafe's and restaurants and a few bars close by too.
I had a great stay here, I stayed the last week in July. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the beaches it's got good facilities and organise sports stuff which I didn't know about so has no trainers which was a shame. All the staff are very helpful and lovely and the food is great too. I loved it and will definitely stay here again.

Good location but wouldn't go back

Pros: Location
Cons: Providing towels in the rooms, tidying the outside of the hotel, improving the reception staff attitude
Location: 5 minute walk to the beach (Marinella plage) and bus stop to Biarritz - loads of surf schools nearby and bars/restaurants close at Plage Sables d'Or
The hotel was fine but just not my kind of thing - think cheesy holiday camp with organised activities in the bar and not much else - definitely more suited to young families. I was half board but only ate one meal there, it was okay but not particularly nice - went out for all meals after that.
Bed was comfy enough but only just about room to walk around 2 sides of the bed, I'm not massive but was hard to turn around in the bathroom it was so small. No towels were provided so I drip dried onto the floor, not great.
Booked an ocean view room and yes it was on the ocean side but ground floor and I could just see an overgrown hedge, definitely NOT an ocean view. Only the door opened so couldn't have any air at night unless you left the door open, didn't feel very safe on the ground floor - then again the shutters stopped any air anyway.
Bar staff were really nice but the reception staff were awful, I wanted a taxi to the airport but they wouldn't call one for me, even when I said I had no phone they dialled the number on their phone but made me speak to them, wouldn't help me out at all, really not great service at all.
Overall it's fine - good location for the beach and Anglet beach centre and bus into Biarritz but cheesy and tired old hotel that I definitely would not go to again... saving money did not pay off this time!!!

Holiday resort touted as a hotel. Awful.

Pros: I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. The price was low but not that low.
Cons: Dowdy cramped room. Price was low admittedly, but for the comfort overpriced.
Location: Beach Chambre D'Amour is nearby.

El alojamiento normal, pero poca atención en la limpieza de las habitaciones, sin cambios de toallas en 6 dias que estuvimos, ni papel higienico.
Hablando de la comida, poca variedad en el desayuno y si tienes alguna intolerancia o alergia (como es el caso de uno de nosotros. Celíaca) no estan muy al tanto del tema. Incluso un día tuvimos un pequeño susto porque al principio nos afirmaron que un plato no contenía gluten y luego nos dimos cuenta que podría llevar soja, preguntamos y nos afirmaron que sí. Eso no nos dio mucha confianza.En definitiva lo único bueno a destacar la ubicación cerca de la playa y pueblo.
