Excellent choice for Angers
Posted 4 Apr 2024 on HotelsVery congenial and helpful host in a lovely, charming and beautifully-furnished house. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom.
Breakfast is light, stairs are quite steep and the radiator will tick and trickle fairly continuously when on, so do without it from bedtime when possible.
Parking at the nearby secure park is easy and reasonably priced - just be aware the only indication you'll get that the exit machine has scanned your paid ticket is the raising of the arm!

Very nice B&B, well situated in Angers. Host was very good. Rooms are dated, but with lots of character. Good value for money.

Delightful hotel with wonderful breakfast. Beautiful period decorations combined with modern, spacious bathroom. Friendly, helpful and communicative host. Great location.

A wonderful and charming stay
Posted 13 Oct 2019 on HotelsI have travelled extensively in recent years and I can say this was the best accommodation I have used. A beautiful house, hidden behind a simple facade. The owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but beautiful, and our room was delightful.
I could not recommend Les Chambers de Mathilde enough. Finding gems like this is why we travel. Absolutely wonderful.
