The proprietor was friendly, humerus, and helpful. Very clean property right downtown Andermatt. Would highly recommend.

This little hotel is in the heart of Andermatt. Very close to everything, groceries, restaurants, ski lift and train station.

Great Place in Heaven

The staff was very friendly and always available. The rooms are modern, very clean, and spacious compared to most European properties I’ve stayed in. The location is ideal as the hotel is situated at the midpoint between the two lifts in town. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic Experience
Posted 16 Jan 2024 on HotelsAlpenhotel Schlüssel was a perfect hotel for my partner and I during our recent ski trip to Andermatt. Thomas and his team were so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to both Andermatt gondolas. The ski storage room (and the heated ski boot rack) was a great convenience. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable and the view from our balcony was stunning. The included breakfast and coffee were the perfect start to the day (and the house-made apricot jam was spectacular). I would highly recommend this hotel - and if we come back to Andermatt, will definitely stay there again!
