Beautiful waterfront lodge with gorgeous sunsets. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day driving.

This is hidden gem outside of Homer! You drive down to the place and it looks like you are driving into the ocean! Susan is very nice!

Out of the way. Initial room was moldy. We changed rooms and new room (with balcony) was great. Staff person was very helpful and responsive.

The staff were so helpful when getting to the property and checking in. We also got some great recommendations and help locating some other things in the area. The beach in front of the property is beautiful. There was a good grab and go style breakfast. Beds were very comfortable.

Their review: What a phenomenal stay! This was a hidden gem that I am so glad we did not miss out on. Our stay was peaceful and stunningly beautiful with clear views of two volcanoes of Lake Clark National Park over water. The proximity to Homer was perfect for a quick trip into town while still being conveniently located away from the chaos of tourism traffic. Our host was kind, accommodating and so knowledgeable of the area. We had once in a lifetime experiences because they made sure to give us all the details and expertise we needed. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and we’ll be sure to return in the future. Our response: You guys were great! I'm glad you had a great time. We hope you come again soon!

The lodge is right on the ocean and has a great view. There is a substantial amount of dirt work being done right now which made us wonder if we were in the right spot when trying to locate it. However, the lodge has a nice deck with chairs which were a great vantage point to enjoy the ocean. The owner was on site and offered use of a side by side to take down the beach to a waterfall near by. There is a continental breakfast on site daily. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin making falling asleep before the last person in the building turned off the tv difficult. Finally, the drinking water smelled very strongly of chlorine and we suspect was the cause of our GI distress during our stay. If you do stay there, be sure to only drink the bottled water that they keep on hand.

During Salmon Fest it is always a little crazier than normal. We would love to host you when it isn't during the Salmon Fest, because it is normally calm and quite here with lots of wildlife around. We are always trying to make a lodge nicer for our guests, and the old way to get to the lodge included a locked gate that we had to have a physical key to let people in and out of, so we were in the process of creating a new road to avoid that gate. Sorry, it was still under some construction for you. We hope you will stay here again. Thanks.
