There are no electrical outlets in the rooms. The owner was rude but the staff was great.

Thank you for your review. With respect to electricity, for security reasons, you had shots at the bar and restaurant to charge your phones, computers and cameras. In the bungalow, however, you had a lamp and electricity all day and night.
You had booked for one person and you arrived with your guide without telling us, we accommodated him and fed him for free while he ate all his meals at the hotel at your table. I asked you to pay for your guide’s meals and you did not want to pay for his lodging or his food and since your guide had no money, we had no choice.
For information, we provide free lodging and feeding of the guides provided that we are notified in advance by our clients or by the agency and provided that the clients are at least 2.
I’m sorry to be surprised by your behavior, but I’m not used to receiving customers who don’t pay us a full bill!

STAY AWAY, Crazy owner!
Posted 5 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe rooms were basic and very expensive to what you get. The beach was rough. The amibance created by owners and staff was cold and hostile. They tried to charge extra for something the moment you come in. If you dont order food or speak french or something Lawrence gets very angry and avoids you. The owner talks about you infront of you in french to her boyfriend. They both smoke constantly infront of our infants! The room we got was next to a rubbish dump full of broken bottles. We went to Mada hostel next door for peace, quiet and a better vibe! we paid in full via online cc payment and asked at arrival if there is any further charges. No. Then 5 mins before the boat back , was told there is more to pay. This place should be taken out of expedia, as it is very hostile and for what you get it is very overpriced compared to other places around the beach. I would avoid this place at all costs and stay somewhere nice and welcoming. The owner and boyfriend DO NOT like small children and are rude to staff! The house is old and run down walls are cracking, bugs crawling, and there is no hot water, no power or internet!! The owner will turn everything off and blame it on the wind. Where if you walked at the same time, to the 'Mada' next door. there is free wifi, pizza, chips, happy hour, power which works fine!!

Sorry to read your comment. I remember you with your 2 young children. You booked a book for 2 persons but you arrived with your 2 children, the bungalow is for 2 persons, it's not a family room. I proposed you a family room but you want absolutly stay in this room with your children, 4 in the double bed... At Atlantis Madagascar, we have a swimming pool so it's dangerous for small children and you let your children play without look an eye around the pool so yes I was nervous !
We have some hot water with solar four just near the kitchen, why didn't asked me ?
We have wifi and it worked very well, I don't understand you ! For electricity you had electricity all the day from 7 am to 10 pm.
For the food, we have chips, pizza and fresh food every day but you prefered take your meal at the next hotel.
Our prices are not expansive, just 16 euros for a double bungalow, Atlantis is the most expansive hotel on the beach with a shower and toilet inside the room.

Keep your escape route open

Bungalows are ok, but there are other, "friendlier" places to stay in Anakao...

Thanks for your review. With Expedia it's difficult to work so it's finish with Expedia for me, Expedia don't pay me... You booked with a very good price for the room.
We made 2 diving days, I showed you good diving sites and you say we're not friendy ? I don't understand...

Sistemazione un pò spartana, doccia a secchio, in ogni caso il bungalow è estremamente carino.Staff almeno nei nostri confronti un pò freddo. Buona la cena e sufficiente la colazione (base). Unico appunto non abbiamo più trovato le ciabatte fuori dal bungalow (2 paia)...

Bonjour, je vous réponds en français car je ne parle pas votre langue, juste l'anglais et le français.
Je ne savais pas que vous aviez perdu vos chaussures ou tongs laissé devant votre bungalow...je pense que c'est mon jeune chiot Junior qui a du jouer avec, pourquoi ne m'avoir rien dit ? nous les aurions chercher avec vous.
