I like the idea of self-service laundromat and the ironing station. The tram and metro are convenient and accessible to other parts of Amsterdam!

We're also thrilled you appreciated the room amenities, right down to the Nespresso machine for that morning caffeine kick. While I'm a bit puzzled to see our hotel condition didn't quite hit the mark for you, I assure you that we're constantly sprucing things up, and our ground floor and hotel rooms had a fresh makeover in 2018. Only thing I would stress is make sure the windows fully lock. Every time we would close the room door the window would open and the AC would turn off. Aside from that, room was clean and comfortable. Very safe with 2 key entries to get into the building. Close to train stations.

We had a great stay here for our 3 days in Amsterdam! We did not know it was also college housing but we did fine as a 37 yr old married couple. Haha. It is outside of the main city so you do need public transit to get around. But it was easy enough to figure out transportation. We loved saving the money to not be right in the action and just tram it in every day.

It was more dorm like that i had expected...our 1st European trip with friends and we got spoiled coming from Rotterdam with the access to things with that made it a tad inconvenience...
