Beautiful property and wonderful stay. Housekeeping was a bit off.. they completely missed cleaning our room on our last full day which was very disappointing.

On check in, room was of course not available. Since we had reserved a suite, we were advised that the room would be cleaned as a priority and advised that it would be ready at 1 PM. We waited and hour and were then told it would be 3 PM. They offered to call our cell when the room was ready and did not. We came back to the property at 3:15 PM and they handed us the key with no comment. So, the staff made a point of making sure the room was not ready until 3 PM. On 2nd night, housekeeping left the door to our suite open after cleaning! We complained to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager who, of course, never contacted us. One of the worst hotel experiences ever. We will never stay at another IH. Property.

The hotel is beautiful, classic. The junior suites we had were of generous proportions with modern bathrooms and amenities. The gym was decent with new equipment. The breakfast included in our room rate was excellent. My biggest praise, however, goes to the staff. They were remarkably friendly and helpful. It will definitely be our first choice for accommodations the next time we go to Amsterdam.
