Great place conveniently located close to Central station. The staff were welcoming and we were given complementary drinks as we’re travelling for a birthday celebration. Rooms had everything needed for a stay and although it was basic was comfortable. Some of our party had rooms at the front of the hotel which were noisy at night as on main road. Breakfast was a standard hotel affair

The hotel was a very short walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Room was small but was adequate for our needs.

The relatively short walk from the railway station was a bit complicated with lots of construction on the way to the hotel which had a small sign leading into a small reception area. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean.

Their AC did not work and had to go back to fix ( which was interesting, because I arrived early and they stated the room was not ready... the room was very hot ). Security was asleep when you walk back in after hours, had to ring the bell and knock on door several times, and they decided to clean the windows of the room at 8am, when I was trying to sleep ( they never told me that would happen and if I needed a different room ). Just crappy service in all.

Not well marked outside so hard to find. Coffee/tea/hot water available in lobby and sometimes a bowl of fruit. Elevator is security type so I felt safe. Ibis Styles is supposed to include breakfast. This location did not. Everywhere of hotel is small. Very little space in room to put suitcases or stuff you need to use. No shower curtain so floor gets wet all the way past sink to toilet. Showerhead was placed up high...not everyone is so tall! Towel rack is also way up high. Provide a stepstool for us short people!!! Only thing "upscale" was quality of toilet paper. But holder is placed horizontally and open in the direction you pull it so roll constantly falls onto floor. Stupid!!! Holder opening should be placed up! Very simple, doable adjustment. No washcloth. How are we supposed to wash our backs? Bed was very comfy but has only soft pillows. Nose gets smothered. Easy walking distance to Centraal train station so all other transportation too. That's why I chose this spot. If you don't need much space, this hotel is a good choice. Maybe there are larger rooms if that is what you need. My room faced inner courtyard so was quiet except for plumbing gurgling.
