We just left our stay at Hotel Twenty Seven a few days ago and I don’t think it’s possible to say enough good things, especially about the service at this hotel. We walked in a bit weary from our flight and from the front desk to help with luggage, everyone made our arrival go smoothly. We felt we had arrived at the home of friends instead of a hotel! We were also given exceptional service in setting up dinner reservations, a top-shelf canal tour, and where to get the best apple pie. If you’re so inclined, do dine at Bougainville. Well worth it! When our room was ready we were escorted by a lovely butler (wow!) to the castle dream suite, which is perfectly named. Spacious, well-appointed with a comfortable living room, two full bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a private, huge jacuzzi tub on the second level. Sure we saw photos before booking, but it didn’t do the size and scope justice. This room was really something special. We have stayed at hotels that claim to be 5-star before, but they’re frequently stuffy and off putting. Hotel Twenty Seven got service SO right, I would come back to Amsterdam just for the opportunity to be around the entire friendly group working here. Our only criticism is that we relaxed and slept so well we had to force ourselves to go sightseeing! Thank you for making our first visit to Amsterdam so memorable.

This property had amazing modern rooms that were very spacious and the staff gave us great attention and even decorated our rooms after a concert we went to as an added surprise. I highly recommend this hotel. It is right in Dam square which is a great location.

I would highly recommend Hotel 27 for anyone. Some may think the price is outside of your budget, but the experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you should find a way to do it. The staff is unbelievably helpful. They got us last minute reservations at restaurants and the maî·tre d' even walked us to the restaurants a few blocks away and talked with the restaurant staff to make sure we were well received. The suites are beautiful and very spacious. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive to any of our requests. You are very close to shopping and nice cafes and right in the middle of the city center. Again, I highly recommend this experience!
