A absolute wonderful place to stay. So helpful with questions on where to eat and shop. Great directions to places that weren’t close. Made calls for us for information. Great beds and pancakes! The hotel is just behind the Rijks museum. There are trams behind the hotel that can take you around the city. Liked that the hotel had a small elevator as we stayed on the top floor and the staircase is steep and narrow (as are a lot of staircases in Amsterdam). Note that there’s an elementary school across the street and it seems like the children are outside playing most of the day. I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff, only 20min walk from Dam Square. Spar nearby for water and snacks if you want. Back of property faces out on to Van Gogh and Moco Museums. Hair dryer and toiletries in bathroom, kettle and coffee machine in room. Great hotel.

Loved the location. Everything we wanted wanted to do, Anne Frank House, Museums and Canal Boat Tours (We highly recommend Sebis Boat Tour) was within a 5 to 40 minute walk.

What a gem! The hotel is right near the tram stop. The staff was super helpful. For a nominal fee, they even did my laundry. The breakfast room was comforrable with lots of choices. All was delicious. I was on the top floor. My air conditioning worked well. The elevator worked well. The stairs are narrow, as with all the historic buildings in the city. So you need to take them slow. But I navigated them fine, as a young senior.

Hotel is within walking distance of city shops, eating, museums. The management are very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Hotel is small with elevator or walk the stairs. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Extraordinary location - convenient, accessible to museums and shopping but nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Feels like a nice kept secret. The property itself is a bit quirky - decor and facilities are old - nowhere near luxury but pleasantly sufficient. Bed and bedding are surprisingly comfortable. (Bed is slightly firm which I like). Amenities are lovely and room has coffee and tea kettle - along w a daily fresh bottle of water. I would stay again for sure.
