Beautifully renovated property in quiet location. Friendly staff and best buffet breakfast we have ever had, so much choice! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. We had a King suite which was spacious, warm and comfortable. My only negative comment would be the undersheet didn’t quite fit the bed which resulted in it moving during the night. Coffee machine, kettle and fridge in room too. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Downside is the hotel is further from old town than anticipated but reception team gave us clear directions for trams etc. it is easily walkable for the museum district. Convenient for Uber journeys for AFAS live shows too. No hotel bar for evening drinks which is unfortunate. All in all would highly recommend this hotel if you’d like a quieter stay.

The hotel itself was very nice however, but once leaving the hotel street, the area was very dirty and under construction so very difficult to walk. It was far from the areas in Amsterdam that we wanted to visit. On the positive, it was close to The French Café West which was a lovely bistro type restaurant.

This hotel was ideal for a couple of nights however the transport system is under Renovation near this hotel so further to walk to get a tram. Only problem we had here is we were on the top floor , no lift and no help with suitcases , the room also smelt of severage, terrible smell when walking back in after the maid had been and not closed the toilet lid. Definitely needs something doing regarding this.

Fantastic place. Breakfast was something we looked forward to, amazing spread. Staffs during check-in and check-out were extremely helpful. Only downside might be the lift goes to level 3 and we stayed level 4, so luggages had to be managed up a flight of stairs which during check-in, we had help from the staff. Location had a few constructions, but an easy walk to most places. Overall, we loved our stay! Thank you to the staffs we crossed paths with during our stay. :)

It sounds like you had an overall fantastic stay! The breakfast spread clearly made a great impression, and it's nice to hear that the staff were so helpful and welcoming during both check-in and check-out. Though the lift not going to the top floor might have been a minor inconvenience, it seems the staff went above and beyond to assist, which is always a plus. Despite some nearby construction, it’s great that the location was still convenient. Your appreciation for the staff really shines through—sounds like a memorable and enjoyable experience! :)

514 was the most beautiful room with a very private balcony. One of the largest rooms I have seen in Europe let alone Amsterdam. The closest tram stop was closed for construction but a short walk made the easily accessible. Breakfast is above the standard of a hotel buffet. The staff was incredibly helpful. I was in historic part of hotel with no elevator but was an easy one floor walk. A little walking noise from above but to be expected with historic building. Not too distracting. Hardly heard them.

Despite the minor inconvenience of the nearby tram stop being closed for construction, it’s great that the location was still easily accessible for you. The breakfast being above standard for a hotel buffet is always a bonus, and it's lovely to hear the staff was so helpful. Staying in the historic part of the hotel without an elevator can be a slight challenge, but it sounds like it wasn't an issue for you. A bit of walking noise from above is probably expected in such an old building, but it seems like it didn't detract from your experience. Overall, sounds like a memorable stay!

There were some scheduling issues but the staff was incredible and proactive in getting our visited sorted. They even gave us some complimentary upgrades and a driver from the airport to ensure our stay would still be as we expected! Staff was impeccable!!!
