Our stay was good overall, the location was incredible, but the stay itself could have been better.
We had an issue with the shower’s door (it was missing one piece) and because of that the bathroom would get very wet after we use the shower. We were there only for 2 days, but we decided to go check with the staff if they could either fix it somehow or get us another room. The entire situation was tiring, as on the first day they were supposed to go look the shower (while we were out) and get back to us after, but they didn’t, so we ended up having to go back to the reception desk on the next day, and ask again. Only on the second time someone actually went upstairs with us to check the issue , and after talking to their management, decided to get us another room. We were happy with the upgrade, but it sucked that we were only there for 2 days, and had to deal with something like this.

Perfect location for exploring Amsterdam. 5 minute walk from Central Station. Staff friendly, breakfast was basic but plenty of choice

The location to the city center and train station is excellent. Only a few blocks from everything.

Very good for the price, central location only a 5 min walk from the train station with a tram stop sight outside the hotel. However the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the people next to you & in the corridor. Also house cleaning seemed in a rush to get us to check out even letting themself into our room twice to ask if we were checking out even though it was still before our check out time, rest of the staff are very nice and helpful.

We loved the stay at the avenue. The location is fantastic. Walkn distance to evrythng.
