Nice Spot Beside Amphawa Floating Market

The property is in an excellent location with lots to do within walking fistance. Plus, there's a nice museum, historic structures and displays on site. The restaurant overlooks the canal and the food was great though there could have been more variety to the daily dishes.Our room was good except for the adjoining storage room which was noisy when sliding open and closed. Besides, there were a lot of tiny ants in a particular area of the room, but the staff dealt with them promptly on two occasions when asked. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great performance of service.

We are arrive late at night. The staff so friendly very helpful. They take us small tour look around with golf car. When we arrive room. We got chocolate look so cute for welcome. Nice room and clean front swimming pool. In morning i wake up. I got fresh air. In the hotel got gym, and spa. Absolutely perfect. The area of hotel no too far from market. You can bike from the hotel and take it back. I falling in love this hotel.

Unfortunate experience

Friendly staff at check-in. Interesting building and hotel grounds. Poor breakfast compared to what else we experienced during our trip - lack of choices. Dirty room, dirty sheets, fresh blood on walls, dead bugs, mould and a very large spider (amive) in our room. Also- no windows. Unfortunate experience. Close to the floating market but would not recommend if comfort and cleanliness is your aim. Upon arrival to our room it seemed one of the staff kept their lunch in our minibar fridge (not a problem) but after seeing how filthy the room was it became apparent perhaps their view on hygiene for guests is not excellent. Clean the rooms between guests please.

Mixed experience. Some good some bad

1st impressions were great, very impressive lobby in main hotel, check-in easy, staff friendly. However, most of the rooms are in a motel-style complex a few mins walk from main hotel and next to the small pool. They have golf buggies to transfer you and free bikes which were great. Unfortunately these rooms, whilst clean and comfortable are very noisy due to paper-thin walls and ceilings. Anyone moving on the upper floor sounds like a herd of elephants in your room, and you can hear the bathroom from the room next door 😞 Of the 3 nights we stayed, 2 nights we didn’t sleep due to 2 large parties of guests (first night, Thai families with children running/screaming) and 2nd night a large crowd of young Asians with guitar, singing until 2am before we had to shout to request quiet and call main hotel to send someone to ask them to stop the noise. The location is very good and we discovered by accident that you can walk along the riverside directly into Amphawa floating market in 10 mins which was lovely. The hotel clearly caters to mainly Asian tourists and this is fine, but communication sometimes challenging! We were made to feel very welcome but the noise unfortunately spoiled our stay a little and if we were to come back, would request the main hotel only. Breakfast was below average (cold eggs, poor pastries). The hotel’s brandy bar on the main road and the music was very good quality. Drink choices limited to vintage (expensive) brandy/whiskey or beer. An ok experience.
