Posted 21 Oct 2018 on HotelsIt was just a quick overnight before moving on to Petra, so the price was outstanding and very friendly staff. The hotel is a tad dated but great value.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating.
The staff assisted me with some troubles with a Careem driver.

Do NOT stay here! There are plenty of other hotels

Pros: The initial location was a plus, but it was a nightmare to get to, and the noise of the traffic quickly eliminated that plus to a negative
Cons: EVERYTHING could have been better!!!!
When I first arrived, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. I had reserved a king bed, and when I got to the room, it was two twin beds pushed together with nothing but a sheet on them. The room DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PHOTOS!! There were stains on the mattress, and there was a smell when I went into the room. I woke up from a very unpleasant sleep, since the traffic noise kept waking me up as I tried to sleep. When I went to shower, I was further disappointed. The shower was so small, I could not even turn around in it. The "shower" was more of a janitor's dump drain than a regular shower.
When I went downstairs, the staff suddenly only spoke select English. That annoyed me very much, as they seemed to want to pick and choose what thy understood. It was when I finally said I wanted to leave that they decided they could speak English. After several interactions with them, I was shown three more rooms. They were no better than the first, and still did not look like the photos at all on the site.
My advice is this.... STAY AWAY!!!! There are plenty of other hotel apartments in the area that are much newer and in much better condition for around the same price. If you want to be super uncomfortable, not enjoy your showers, and be frustrated, then this is the place for you.

first of all I would like to state that I, the guy who checked you in, spoke fluent Americn English, and I noted to my employees to take extra attention to your requests as you were very kind.
The pictures on Expedia and it's agents are exactly what our rooms/apartments are, and I have recently updated all the pictures with what I made sure to be non-professional picture so I would not get such complaints, the shower is Amman's standard for our price range, and we had to compromise our standard sound proof window glass so we would be able to put the huge windows you had in your room, thinking that since it's on our highest floor it would not be an issue, we apologize for your experience but I believe you were not subjective with your review.
We hope you accept our apology and we will take all your notes with serious consideration.

Pros: Nothing much all i had is a bad experience and 3 sleepless nights
Cons: The staff are untrained , there is no room service , no local calls , one of the worst ever , dirty tables and staines everywhere , too noisy , you can hear everystep on the stairs all night , drunk prople shouting in the room next door , it was a traumatic stay
Location: Near university of jordan , few shops around , nothing interesting in the area around

During your stay we had 15 other doctors staying, and they were all here for the same test, why is it that you were the only one with complaints, while others had a great experience? All of our walls are sound proof, double coated, and room service is available 24/7. Alcohol is prohibited in the property and noise complaints are addressed immediately, why is that we had no complain from you?
There is no single Hotel Apartment in the kingdom that offers local calls, on what basis did you expect to be offered so?
Cleanliness is one of our main concerns, mistakes could happen, but again why didn't we hear a word from you? If your allegations are true, housekeeping staff will be questioned.
I assure the professionality of our staff my self, and we try to keep it up to the highest standards. We had one new employee that is never by herself, and is always monitored for assurance of the highest quality serves.
