The Inn was in a quiet village near Hawkshead. The dinner and breakfast menu and food served was really good and tasty. The room facilities were ok - but a lot of noise from the people in the room above walking around.

The staff , chef and management were excellent. The food was amazing, the bed super comfy, the setting quiet. It is run by a Mauritian family and they were super charming and really understood the importance of good hospitality.

My brother and I had an excellent stay at the Cuckoo Brow Inn. The Cuckoo Brow Inn is the ideal quaint B&B in the Lake District for a very reasonable rate. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant served up delicious traditional Cumbrian fare for breakfast and dinner, and the room was comfortable and updated (appreciated the clawfoot tub). Couldn't have asked for more.

Amazing area, slightly quiet than staying in other towns around the lakes. I have an eating intolerance, which the staff were happy to help with adding a fridge into my room for pre-prepared food than I bring which was really helpful. Lovely helpful staff, great parking and all round lovely stay. Would recommend and would come again

Great stay and service under the new owners, food/menu was beautiful and rooms were lovely. We were able to bring our dog which is amazing - they have a wide selection of dog food and treats too in reception. Hotel is located a short walk from the Windermere ferry and surrounded by lovely walks. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay with a very friendly and helpful staff making things very relaxed. It is a great place to stay with your dogs who also felt welcome and cosy. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The setting is stunning with wonderful views from the room and it is very easy to enjoy walking in the area. The food was lovely with a delicious menu. Overall we had an amazing time. Thank you.
