This is an inexpensive hotel with perfect location. No bells, whistles of thrills, only clear and clean functionality. Will definitely stay again there on my next visit.

Pros: A little quirky, but thankfully not a beige large-chain hotel. The breakfast is incredible.
Cons: Would be great to have a stronger Wifi signal, and an on-site laundry room would be fantastic.
Location: Located right at a S1 train stop, Hotel Schmidt is fantastic in that you are staying in a quiet neighborhood, yet able to pop anywhere in Hamburg.
Hotel Schmidt is located right next to the S1 subway stop, so you can get anywhere in Hamburg from this location. Located in four renovated private homes, Hotel Schmidt is a charming hotel, with an incredible spread each morning for breakfast. Lovely neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, clothing stores, etc.
