No response from this property when we and Expedia reached out. Canceled within a day of booking and before our check in date, no consideration for a medical situation we were dealing with. No discretion to partially refund or even offer a credit. Will book elsewhere moving forward

The hotel in located in a beautiful quiet setting with lots of birds, butterflies, monkeys and a view of the lake and Concepcion volcano.

This place is no where to be found

Beautiful location. A bit of a drive to get to hotel but worth it. Fantastic service!

Hi Jessica, thank you very much for your positive comments. Indeed from the main road we have a 2 kilometer drive through our the plantain plantation. We have a working farm that includes grazing land for our horses, oxen and cows that provide the milk for cheese and yogurt consumed at the hotel. We also have fruit trees such as star fruit, mangos, avocado, sour orange, lemon and coconut trees as well as the plantains that are our cash crop and also provide the hotel’s restaurant. The red beans consumed at the restaurant are from another one of our farms and much of the produce we serve is locally grown. I hope the bounty described above makes it worth while the little drive through the property to the skirt of Lake Cocibolca where cooling breezes and beautiful vistas of our beautiful volcanoes await you.

Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Huge thanks to all staff members. I recommend the horse riding tour. Food can be improved.

It was perfect! Really quiet and beautiful. Not at all a party place, more nature and quiet oriented. The food at the restaurant is really good.

Absolutely stunning grounds! Beautiful, comfortable, clean cabin with all amenities. Food was excellent! Staff were very nice and helpful! Great communication!
We hope we can go back some day!

Really isolated so if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this was good too isolated for me. This is the Windy side of the island.

Hi Kayla,Yes indeed we are 2 kilometers from the main road and even thought we have taxis and tourist transport come in and out to pick up our guests for tours on a routine basis if you don’t have your own transport it is a little farther to walk out to other places. We are a farm to market experience and an oasis of calm away from the hotels, bars and restaurants that are on the main roads. Our restaurant is nearly exclusively for the service of our guests and our beach is frequented mostly by our guests and neighbors or locals who love to fish there. Seclusion, exclusivity and a peaceful ambiance is just what many are looking for. During the dry season we do have more wind and generally there is a cooling breeze off the lake even during the calmer months.
