Alsfeld - local accommodations

Three nights, parking available, wonderful stay. This property is located one block (or less) from the historic walking district of the amazing Alsfeld centrum and about a mile from the A5. The structure is dated: there is no elevator but we had radiator heat in May (possibly no AC in summer?). It was very clean. We were given a large room (20) with a sitting area. Some of the other rooms appeared to be for single working travelers. The staff was very pleasant and some spoke English. The breakfast was more than ample. And we enjoyed looking at the aquarium with turtles.

Liked close to the old town. Not far from train station. Hotel was a little dated. Did not make the beds when cleaning the room.

no room despite a booking confirmation

We got there and despite our names being in the booking register and having a booking confirmation we were told there was no rooms available. They did not apologize but said another hotel would take us. We had problems getting the address and finding the hotel. We wanted to stay at hotel kros as it is the centre of Alsfeld a gorgeous medieval German town. The other hotel was not within walking distance of the old town. Our trip was ruined, and no compensation offered at all

Wir mussten uns beim Preis für das Frühstück durchsetzen, da es im Hotel eigentlich teurer ist. Das Internet war nicht sofort verfügbar, da mussten wir erst nachfragen, ebenso wie der Fernseher funktioniert. Es gab keine Erklärung im Zimmer. Das Duschgel gab es in kleinen Tüten statt im Spender. Zuviel Müll.Das Bett war sehr hart.

Zimmer war sauber,das Bett zu weich, es ist erneuerungs Bedürftig Das Frühstück ist für 12.-€ in Ordnung, sehr gute Kaffeemaschine!!
