"This hotel was such a wonderful experience that we extended our stay for two extra nights. Plenty of secured parking at very good rates and the breakfast was easily the best we had during our two week stay. The town of Tomar was lovely with wonderful restaurants and sights. There were also lots of fun shops. A very good home base from which to visit other centrally located towns and tourist sights. Highly recommended. "

"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. The hotel has many group bookings and insufficient elevators so expect a wait at reception or getting to/ from your room. "Nice clean and well located hotel. The room was a bit outdated and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was perfectly fine for one night’s stay. While the mini bar was surprisingly included in my room rate, I was equally surprised to see that there were no amenities provided (body lotion, cotton balls etc). I didn’t try the breakfast."

"The hotel location was perfect as far as distances between major cities. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly offering suggestions for sightseeing and eating. The rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The breakfast choices were excellent and they offered to make eggs any style if preferred. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Portugal "

"What a special, special place! So perfect for relaxation and food for your soul. We were enchanted by the property surroundings. They have a vineyard to make their own wine and grow olives to make their own olive oil. Lemon and orange trees and a vegetable garden. A lovely infinity pool for relaxing. I can’t say enough about the amazing restaurant that produces the absolute best food you’ll ever have without fail! The friendly owners and staff stole our hearts. A very special thank you to Teresa and Maria who went above and way beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and at home. They are simply the BEST! I can’t wait to return for another stay! "
