"Finding the entrance (you'd think it would be the front door) was tricky and I had to show a copy of my receipt upon check-in (seemed odd) so I feared the worst. In fact the room was lovely and warm on a very cold day, clean, had a desk and fast wi-fi. The takeaway next door was also convenient. Car parking was free and off road. "The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"
