"Brilliant location and the staff are top notch but the hotel is a little tired and could do with a freshen up but it’s very clean. There is a kebab shop next to the hotel that was next to my room and my mum was in the room next door. The noise started at 1am until 4am. Couldn’t sleep so if you book a room ask that’s it’s not next to the kebab shop. Breakfast was really good!"

"This was a lovely hotel, very central to all the areas we wanted to visit. The rooms were quirkily designed and the bar area was stylish. The staff were so friendly and very helpful and the ability to park onsite was a bonus. Unfortunately I could hear the music from a nearby bar until the early hours on the Saturday we stayed, although my partner slept through. I would be happy to stay again in a different room."

"Had a really lovely time staying here for 1 night. Staff are very helpful and polite. Room was amazing. Yes it is an old building so there is going to be some tied look in places. The only down side is the parking if you can get in the hotel parking ( limited spaces ) its 25 pounds for the night . Apart from the parking which i went off one of the side streets and found somewhere but just to warn you its not easy. Had an evening meal at the hotel and it was very good and great value for money....

"This was my first solo trip away so I was hoping everything would be smooth and stress free, which it was. The hotel is faceless (didn’t see any staff on site) and keyless meaning you check yourself in with a code and email them when you check out, to be honest suited me and no issues. "We were less than a block from the beach. Although the room was small, it was painted light and felt airy and roomy. The only downside was the shower. It was tiny, which is manageable, but the rain shower head made it so there was no place in the shower you weren't getting wet. There was not a shelf for soap or anything and the door wouldn't close. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."

"I booked a single room at the Grand for a one-night stay. The room was inland facing and did not have a view but it was very modern and smart, with a lovely marbled shower room. The room was very quiet and I slept better than I had in ages. Breakfast was excellent - a wide variety of buffet items. All the staff were extremely helpful."
