Bad Experience!

Pros: I thought it would be traditional, but it was not! The decor seemed somehow; however, the quality and ambience is poor!
Cons: Almost everything can be improved, but requires more attention, care and some investment.
Location: It was my first time in Algiers, Algeria and cannot really be comprehensive here!
Going straight to the point: 1- Room: Clean but poorly styled (not modern yet not really traditional) 2- Bathroom: Clean but has persistent bad smell (plumbing). 3- Internet: No in-room Internet only at the hotel's lobby, which was inefficient because of all guests load. 4- Restaurant: Breakfast and dinner items are quite limited not really encouraging. I did not try dinner a 2nd time. 5- Checkout: Reception did not accept credit cards from guests although they have a Master/Visa sign on the hotel front door, you have to be ready with cash!

On a business trip,, i dont expect much expect a good place to sleep at night. COnsidering that,, i still feel that more courtesy should have been extended by th hotel if they wish to improve their business. 1) its mentioned complementary bottle of water every day... but no bottles are provided, you have to insist and the room service ask you charge for the bottle...Why? 2) Really bad food. Breakfast timings are till 10 am, but they start to wrap up by 9 am. I reached at 9.15, and it was a big effort for the waiter to get me an ommelette ( which is the only edible stuff in the hotel. ) Rest you find are dry breads, croissants, and cereals... which i am sure no one eats and it is provided again the next day!

That was my first time in Algiers , on business trip .Don't get me wrong , the staff is nice and very helpful , but let me give you some examples : 1) the corridor that brings to the room smells like public toilet , and i do not exagerate , it's a quite strong smell . 2) the room is very tiny , enough for someone who needs to sleep and leave the rom .3) the breakfast is hilarious , it was so shocking that i took pics . 2 good thing though for and from this hotel : first the lady from the laundry , halima , who was very helpful when i needed an iron and did it for all my shirts , and second a taxi man who i have been introduced with , made a deal with and worked with him all the day and it was quite helpful since i had couple of meetings .Bottom line the ratio quality/price is completely out of proportion .

GOOD LOCATION BUT DO NOT USE IT

Cons: NO WIFI OR INTERNET IN THE ROOMS
Location: GOOD OCATION
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AS THE HOTEL THOUGH IN A GOOD LOCATION IS OPPOSITE TO WHAT THE SITE SAYS IN WORDS AND PHOTOS. AS SOON AS I ENTERED HE STAFF WERE NOT FRIENDLY AND BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS NO WIFI IN THE ROOMS OR THE RECEPTION AS CLAIMED ON THE SITE. I HAD TO CANCEL THE BOOKING AND EXPEDIA WERE VERY HELPFUL HELPING ME DOING THIS AND GETTING MY MONEY BACK.
