Certain members of the reception were rude, attitude was poor. Very unfriendly and not welcoming at all. However the property was nice

On my two weeks travel thru Spain in Portugal, we came across this beautiful spot Albufeira lovely but what made this location special was Sao Rafael Holydays amazing villas clean perfect location, beautiful pool 3 blocks from the most beautiful beach ..
Beatriz she’s wonderful person, always there for you.. Im coming back for sure!

The location is great. Walking distance to couple beaches. One of the beaches has a nice beach restaurant where you can choose your fresh fish and they will grill it for you. Albufera is less then 10 min away by taxi. We liked it because the location is very quiet. It felt that we are by our selfs there. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the bed had this cover over the mattress and under the sheet the protection that you would use for a baby cribs. Like some plastic that sounds like when you move and makes extra warm at night. That should go!

Property was much bigger than expected. Short walk from the beach and hiking trails. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

The area is super nice! Walking distance to two beautiful beaches, both with beachside restaurants, paddleboard rentals, etc… The hotel is intimate, almost closer to a BNB than a hotel. This is not a luxury hotel, but I felt like we found a gem of a place to stay with great service, continental breakfast, private pool

We rented a 3 bedroom Palm villa , when we tried to check in at 4 our room was not ready ( not a big deal) and was asked to come back a little later. We explored the area a little and on our return at 5 was told that there was a maintenance issue with our accommodation (the main bedroom with walkout to upstairs patios whole drape assembly had fallen off the wall ) we’re told that they locked the room and if it was ok if we just used it as a 2 bedroom.I told them we definitely needed a 3 bedroom unit, they had no other availability and could not move us. I told them I would take the unit as is so it took another hour for them to clean the extra room for our check in was delayed till 6pm. This particular unit is getting a little tired overall, things like loose hand rail at top of stairs tile trim in upstairs bathroom not flush deadbolt on front door disabled with screw kitchen and living room tables with glass stains. The overall cleanliness I would rate a 3 out of 5 ( I ended up having to give the outdoor patio floor a wash down (no big deal).All the other properties we stayed at provided some laundry detergent for a few loads as well as a roll of paper towels in the kitchen they did not ( would be nice if they had. The underground parking was a joke unless you are driving a small car VW golf your not going to fit but ample outdoor parking . I would say that the staff especially the property manager was very kind and helpful and apologized for the inconvenience of the drapes
