We had broken air conditioner for 5 of the 6 nights and they would not give us any compensation, told us to take it up with Expedia.

As potencial to be so good, too far from city center but quite surroundings, place stinks of mould, mould in the shower and just a bad smell all the time. Our bed sheet had steins from god knows what. For an extra 50 or 100 pounds stay at the vila gale 2 mins away. We had breakfast there everyday

It’s a little out of the way but very good location otherwise. Internet service was spotty. Ummmm not sure of breakfast as I never offered or as it was part of package. Overall it’s good place but basic and clean!

Cheap but no chic☹️
No facilities ie no Bar or restaurant or shop.
Self catering apartment had a kettle and microwave.
Hob did not work.
No towels, or even dustpan and brush.
Midges and mosquitoes because damp so could not sit outside ☹️

So, let's be honest! You have booked a simple room (for €36,00) and asked for kitchen.?... any place in the advertise says double room has this facilities.
Double room has microwave, kettle and fridge only.
We gave you the opportunity to change for a studio with kictenette (which you accepted). "Self catering apartment" has a kettle, a coffee machine, oven, microwave and induction hob. It is necessary to know how to work with induction hob, we asked you that, you said yes but apparently you didn't and you never came to us to inform that didin't work. Only when you checked-out on the 10th October morning. To late!
What do you mean no towels? Towels were provided and were in the room when you checked-in.
In any place is advertised bar, restaurant and shop?
First time ever a guest comments such a thing...
There is a lot of bad intention on your part to have been staying 2 nights in our accommodation without any complaints or observations and then to make this kind of comment which is completely false.
It is completely unacceptable!

Pretty good

Excellent service at checkin! Our shower was a hand held sprayer only. Made it difficult to wash hair etc. Very dark hall, and loud stairs even if you were tip-toeing to try to be quiet. Overall great place, a little bit quieter and out of the way of the hustle and bustle.

Nice studio, however owner has given Expedia wrong zip code meaning it took a long 2 hours to find despite being only a 10 minute walk from the station. Zip code given leads to a building site on other side of town - beware of this issue! A nice studio, however worth noting that it is a little cut off from town and requires walking down an unlit track at night. Also the site is not well lit so plenty of scope for falling down steps.

We loved the room. Breakfast was outstanding! The staff were exceptional. The beds were springy and the wifi was very spotty.

Disappointing

Pros: Quiet, lovely views, cleaning and waiting stall very nice.
Cons: Lots, health and safety being a priority.
Location: Lagos is a lovely little town with wonderful beaches cafes etc. plenty of family activities to be had. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Hotel in nice setting, room poor standard of maintainence, very basic facilities. The TV didn't work on our arrival, despite reporting this nothing was done. Outside steps very dangerous, loose and badly lit. We were not offered choice of room when booking. spare bed just basic camp bed. No real greeting given, just taken to our room, no information given on surrounding area, transport, where to get food etc.
