The staff is very helpful and kind. One staff mrmber, Fatima Silva, went out of her way to verify a restaurant we wanted to visit was open. The entire staff reflected the best in customer service. I’ll return to this place.

The staff is wonderful. Fatima Silva, who worked the reception area, when beyond any requirements. She personally checked the availability of a restaurant. The entire staff is very helpful. Great place to stay.

Great propery in a quiet area. Entrance is located in an alley area down a hill. If coming from airport or train, you might want to take an official taxi and not Uber or similar. The road has a barrier that only residents or taxis have permission on. It is a steep hill so you might want to.get a Taxi instead if you are hauling luggage.

We arrived early and they stored our luggage in a locked room until we got back later.
The luggage was waiti g for us in our rooms upon our return

I forgot how loud Alfama can be. it’s been a few years. Hotel is very nice, amazing water pressure, but the drain is very slow and the basin overflows all over the bathroom.
