Hotel was just what we needed for a mini break between Christmas and New Year. Lovely quiet hotel, clean, friendly and welcoming staff. Food in The Brasserie restaurant was excellent including the breakfast. It was lovely to order breakfast at the table rather than buffet style. We will definitely revisit.

We had a lovely time in aldburgh christmas shopping, and staying at the white Lion was very homely, warm, clean and convenient for the town. The staff were friendly and it was beautifully decorated for christmas. We will definatley be returning.

Very convenient hotel, facing the sea, shops and restaurants nearby
The rooms are small but good enough
The decor is a bit dated
Facilities are very good
Staff are welcoming and happy to help
Free parking outside

Check in was very good and organised. Room was generally good. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. The only disappointment was the sea views wasn’t brilliant as the windows were dirty on the outside, and the exterior generally looked uncared for. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel was lovely, friendly staff. The was food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Great location on the beach. The only downside to the hotel was the bathrooms need updating. Shower is over a high bath. The water pressure was terrible, the shower was old. Mould round shower glass.

Decor is a little faded and parking was a bit of a pickle, but service was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the adjacent Indian restaurant wonderful, as was the beer in the bar!
