I had a room with a balcony which I used every day and really enjoyed. The hostess was very helpful and accommodating.
The location was perfect, quiet at night and a very short stroll to old town Albi.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

slightly grotty - great location
Posted 24 Aug 2020 on HotelsThe hotel is in a great location for guests on foot. And once you have sorted where to park, if in a car, which is a bit confusing then you are right in the heart of Albi , which is a fantastic town.
The hotel is very run down , like i havent been anywhere so grotty carpet wise ever. And i had three pieces of toilet paper, which i would have expected the staff to have sorted out . My impression is minimal investment and staffing and maximum profit. I was mis led by the pool into thinking it was a better type if place than it was

No sleep
Posted 20 May 2019 on HotelsRain did not help, but not that easy to find parking. No elevator. Separate building from lobby. Office closes at 8. No heat in May and cold in room. People above us were noisy until 3:30 am. Only got 3 hours sleep. Had to leave early for cave painting appointment. Did not know how to contact owner after 8 so just got more and more disgusted by 2 am sent him email. At checkout did reduce price but would have rather slept. Said we should have knocked on door to complain. Whose door...his or the young men speaking another language loudly til 3 am. Where was his door?

I can understand that the noise disturbed you. At check-out you told me that the room above you did party all night long. I did a 50% discount to you. But why haven't you phoned me or just knock at the door during the evening !! After your departure I talk to the guests explaining them that there are bars in town for fiesta.. and the 2 other nights of their stay, they did no noise anymore !! Indeed there is no lift in the hotel - it is noticed on the announce ! - but I carried your luggage to the room that was at 1st floor. Concerning heating, the cantral gaz was not working in the room because it was more than 20 °.. but there was the electric one in the bathroom if you feel it was humid... To sum up I think that the hotel is not perfect but I do not deserve such a bad avice, that is definitely not fair.

Modern hotel near the Castle and Old Bridge

Unexpected Albi
Posted 28 Aug 2018 on HotelsStaying in Albi was a last minuet change of schedule but it was a lovely sleepy town to take in for an evening and morning.
The hotel itself was well located very near to the cathedral. It is not glitzy but serves its purpose and is well priced. The bed was very comfortable. We did not use the pool but the pool and garden looked lovely.
Best of all was the hotel owner. We were late but he was extremely accommodating and friendly at a late hour. Overall a good hotel that served its purpose

Nice hotel

Little central oasis
