Very nice escape hotel, close to ski & the cedars

Very nice hotel. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by a warn staff that gave us the privilege to pick our room by visiting the available rooms. We had a nice cosy dinner next to the chimney and the waiters were always available. The dinner was delicious, so was the rich lebanese breakfast that we had while enjoying a breathtaking view of the snowy highest peaks of lebanon. The staff was more than welcoming and even offered us a late checkout We had a nice escape weekend. Definitely will return again.

Home away from home

Pros: everything
Cons: Offer vegetarian meal options on the menu. They accommodate meals as you need.
Location: ski, visit cedars, visit top of mt. lebanon, monasteries, historical sites, etc
Le Cedrus operates with European Alps hospitality. The staff and manager went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. They arranges outings and special food to meet our needs. We felt like we were at a family home rather than a hotel. I highly recommend Le Cedrus for its warmth and its location next to the anceint cedar grove. A true gem.

First of all when we arrived they did not have the reservation we had made through Expedia despite we had received a confirmation email. Secondly, there were no towels in the room and they did not tell us. When we realized and we called them, they said that they did not have any at the moment and that we had to wait 30 minutes. We waited longer than that and finally they brought only two towels. They said that they had been full for 20 days in a row and they did not have clean towels! This is unacceptable for a place where you pay a very high rate per night. Also, the room was very hot, little window without air conditioning. Not sure I will go back there.

Superbe endroit et personnel très accueillant et sympa. Juste le wi-fi qui ne passe pas toujours et le chauffage pas toujours allumé . Mais en gros c'était un séjour superbe et je le recommande
