The property is clean but dated. Even though the town is close, the walk is either up or downhill. I’m surprised the town doesn’t have better stairs or sidewalks to walk to the various beaches and areas. Cabs and UBER are available.

Airlie Apartments is an older property and the photos for the room type do display for when you book on the online travel agents. Clean apartments is our priority.There are many pathways around Airlie Beach but most accommodation is up on a hill and if you don't like walking, Uber or the cab is best.Thanks for visiting.

We stayed in unit 16b. The apartment was clean and the king size bed was awesome. The door locks on its own so make sure you take the key if you leave. We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once?
We cooked with the well equipped kitchen. The 2 AC units kept us comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the view from the pool and shaded deck was gorgeous.
The pictures online of the apartment and pool area arent as nice as it actually is.
Oh, and the walk up the hill is tough, but not that long.
Recommend to anyone.
