A coffee machine in the room would be nice. All other motels have one.

The check-in procedures were more comprehensive than those at other motels and hostels I have booked.While intended to prevent abuse in booking-related transacations as well as minimize the incidence of abuse of the rental property, the execution of these validation aspects seemed prolonged compared to vendors; I felt that a suitably welcoming demeanor by staff as well as visual indicators of hospitality and an interest to accomodate a client would have made me feel more valued.

Had a lovely and smooth stay, the property is cute yet the rooms are spacious and well kept. Management was friendly and definitely liked that public transport was just a few steps away!!

I wish the listing of this property had pictures of the back building which contains another 12 units (including where I stayed), it was not as nice as what was pictured on the Expedia site which I was expecting. Had I seen the photos of where I stayed, I probably wouldn't have booked. While the core areas appear clean (bed, shower & toilet, towels), the room held a lingering smell of what I would guess as mildew and urine (in the bathroom). Because of this, I tried not to spend too much time in the unit altogether unless I had to (ie. a place to get some shut eye).
Staff is friendly, and I got the overall impression that they were doing their best to maintain things as clean as possible on a tight budget.
