"Picked up from the airport - lovely lady was waiting with a board with my name on it (and others) gave us all close garlands and a lovely tour of the island - food trucks, supermarket and where to get other bits. The hotel is LOVELYYYY - very nice and my room was huge - very clean and the WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is very lovely too and healthy. You can tell they think about every last detail. I wanted to go to the Kari Kari show one night and they booked this for me. "

"Hotel is a bit run down. Rooms were basic and clean. Person at the front desk was not very knowledgeable. They are a mile and a half from town and the walk along the ocean was nice but still got tiring. Would be good if they had bicycles for rent. They did call taxis for us which arrived pretty quickly except for one that didn't show at all (and guy then had left the desk). Water is not drinkable and hotel only sold small bottles and ran out so there was no water available at all one night...

"Kona Koa lodge was perfect! The location is peaceful and quiet. There are multiple units on the property but positioned perfectly so you rarely see each other. "Had a wonderful stay at Taha Tai. Truly enjoyed the dining experience, the amenities, and a clean and comfortable room with an in-room safe that fits a laptop. The location was perfect for exploring. It had a very warm feel. I stayed in the hotel (not the cabanas) and I really enjoyed it. The front desk staff were also very helpful in arranging tours and assisting with any questions I had during my stay. The environment was charming overall with a very Polynesian feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor and landscaping. It was a great spot to enjoy a relaxing Easter Island getaway. The restaurant and breakfast were also very lovely. I look forward to returning again soon. "
