"Picked up from the airport - lovely lady was waiting with a board with my name on it (and others) gave us all close garlands and a lovely tour of the island - food trucks, supermarket and where to get other bits. The hotel is LOVELYYYY - very nice and my room was huge - very clean and the WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is very lovely too and healthy. You can tell they think about every last detail. I wanted to go to the Kari Kari show one night and they booked this for me. "

"Kona Koa lodge was perfect! The location is peaceful and quiet. There are multiple units on the property but positioned perfectly so you rarely see each other. The units are very clean and look newly built. The bed was very comfortable and unit was beautifully decorated. "This was a clean, simple cabin which was very spacious for a family of four. There was a full kitchen that we could use. Breakfast, which was included with our stay, was delicious and varied from morning to morning. The cabin is also accessible to the town, even without a car. It's about a 20-30 minute walk. "The hotel was a lovely retreat at the end of a long day touring the island, with some adorable and extremely friendly pets to welcome you back as well. "The host gave us a warm welcome and it’s a whole building with two rooms and one well-equipped kitchen! The hostel located at a quiet place and natural garden with some cute little pets walking around us. "One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. "We got exactly what we expected considering the price. The best part was the staff and the breakfast was amazing! They were so helpful and always responded quickly! It was a little farther from town but you can easily reach town for 4-5 dollars so it was not a problem for us. The only negative is there was a kitchen but nothing to cook with or eat with. "The cabin was ok and had a fairly well-equipped kitchenette. It's about a 15 walk to the downtown area in a sort of isolated area, so I tried not walk home late (but taxis are easy). "Had a wonderful stay at Taha Tai. Truly enjoyed the dining experience, the amenities, and a clean and comfortable room with an in-room safe that fits a laptop. The location was perfect for exploring. It had a very warm feel. I stayed in the hotel (not the cabanas) and I really enjoyed it. The front desk staff were also very helpful in arranging tours and assisting with any questions I had during my stay. The environment was charming overall with a very Polynesian feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor and landscaping. It was a great spot to enjoy a relaxing Easter Island getaway. The restaurant and breakfast were also very lovely. I look forward to returning again soon. "
