"Ich bin begeistert von dem Hotel. Das Haus steht zwar etwas weg vom Schuss, dafür ist es nachts maximal ruhig. Zunächst war ich etwas irritiert vom Stilmix. Da gibt es eine japanische Brücke über einen Koi-Teich als Zugang zum Hotel, daneben stehen Säulen im Hundertwasserstil, möglicherweise sogar Originale. In der Lobby ist ein kleiner Elefant postiert und in Sichtweite steht das Heck eines VW-Käfers. Die liebevoll ausgesuchten Details sind zwar reine Geschmacksache, aber das Wichtigste ist das...

"We really enjoyed our stay with Ingrid and Helmut. They truly care about the guests who stay with them. Ingrid took extra time to find times for local tours we were interested in and looked up and printed out the details for our train out of town. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast is fantastic and the room was comfortable. We would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area."

"Very good central location in Boppard at the river from near the central square and KD boat landing. There are two kinds of rooms with a balcony and a river view, I recommend getting the larger one, if available — it is worth the price difference. (Although the smaller ones are quite fine, too). The breakfast is ok - same as in other similar hotels, maybe a little less selection. Friendly and helpful staff (Don’t forget to make special arrangements if arriving after 9pm) "

It was late when we decided we weren't far enough along in our journey to make it one day, as we'd hoped. Lucky for us, we found this place. "We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"
