Beautiful room in a wonderful old building. The room And bathroom was spotless, with an easy to use shower.
We arrived very late at night and the host was available to direct us to our room in the court yard.

Good but not for me
Posted 5 Feb 2020 on HotelsRoom was comfy but so small ypu couldnt swing a cat. No breakfast was offered even though it stated continental breakfast. Room was the coldest room i have ever slept in, in my life so cold i was wearing clothes to bed. En suit was tiny couldnt turn round it was that small and of course it was absolutely freezing. For this reason how cold and small it was i wouldn't stay again. I have to say the room was very clean and the bed was comfy. But heatinf needs to be on continuously which unfortunately it isnt.

Hi thank you for taking your time to review our property, the room was a double court yard room and has plenty of room, admittedly the en-suites are small but have everything you need for a night stay with a double power shower, we do offer a Continental breakfast on request however none was requested from you booking, I have in the rooms a sign on the back of the door saying that if you need me for any reason to call and had you of called a could of put the heating back on for you, that room now has a night heater for when the main heating goes off and so far since it has been fitted we have not had any other comments about the room being cold. Onlt downside was the room was absolutely freezing so cold i had to sleep in dressing gown you coupd see your breath! I nipped out in the morning and came back to house keeping packing my stuff with still 2 hours until stated check out time which i felt was very rude. I would stay again just not in that room purely for how cold it was. It was unbearabe.

Excellent stay

Its age being grade 2 listed. Lorraine was very welcoming even though we were early on our arrival. The room was extremely comfortable and very quiet, lovely fresh towels and bed linen, highly recommended because of Host.Thankyou.

The property was very clean however the website is not accurate. The rooms shown as standard doubles were not what we were given. The room was nicely decorated, but en-suite absolutely tiny. No room to put even a bar of soap! Also a full breakfast is offered online but apparently this is no longer the case. The continental breakfast was disappointing - nothing fresh at all. Although there was nothing really wrong with the property and the price was reasonable the website led to us being over promised but under delivered. The owner was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area and the property.
