No parking available at hotel
Posted 9 Aug 2024 on HotelsContrary to advertising, no parking available at hotel. Hotel refused outright to provide, assist or arrange parking in a very busy location with little public parking during day and none at night.
Cannot stay at such a location.
Hotel should be upfront about facilities / amenities available and should never lie on their advertisement to misguide customers. Terrible experience. Did not stay at hotel due to their attitude.

The property is old and needs a renovation. The room was not as clean as I expected. Reception was really helpful.

1) furniture was worn out and not clean
2) there's no towels or dishwashing liquid or sponge to clean dishes
3) I found small cockroaches in the bathroom
4) Bathtub was not clean
5) Water shattaf was leaking so I had to turn off the water
6) Water heater was off so I had to wait an hour to take a shower
7) Both central AC's were fully on at 20ºC and the apartment was freezing when I checked in
8) There's no parking for the hotel, so i had to roam around and find paid parking on the street away from hotel

We tried to contact them before checking in, but the phone was ringing but no one was answering. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that their phones in the room were also not working. As there is no way for you to contact front desk, you have to go down and tell them in person, which is quite a hassle. Only two pillows were provided in the room, and the room and refrigerator smelled extremely unpleasant. Additionally, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and in the drawers.
Pros:
It is located near the mall, coffee shops, and other places where you may need to purchase items.
There are taxis available everywhere and getting one is not a problem.
It is easy to communicate with the staff at this hotel.

After what I experienced at other hotels and hostels in UAE, I was very happy to have changed some plans to stay here. Upon checking in, I found out Expedia had made a mistake in my booking. This hotel handled everything. They gave me a room and called Expedia themselves to handle it, which I greatly appreciate. I needed that after some other issues that happened during my trip.
Hotel is in a great location and has plenty of parking (albeit they are paid), and places to eat and check out. Uber had great access to it to, and it is a great stepping off point to other areas. Hotel was clean, well air conditioned, and very comfortable as a whole. Would absolutely stay again.
