"Avoid this place. A former motel that’s fallen on hard times, it’s cheap for a reason. I didn’t manage an hour before picking up on the weird vibes, non-customers roaming the corridors and strange noises all around. I am sure this was a decent hotel once upon a time, but has been left to a state of social non-repair now. "

"Campingen gav gott intryck direkt med en jättetrevlig tjej i receptionen. Området kring stugan var trevligt och mysigt. Stugan var över förväntan, rymlig och fräsch med en härlig uteplats. Om jag skulle anmärka på något så var badrummet ganska slitet, taket buktade lite och plastmattan kändes sliten och ofräsch. Men det är ett sådant plus att ha egen toa/dusch i stugan så det var inget stort minus. Nära till Tylösands härliga strand. "

"While the hotel has a great location and lovely breakfast, the check-in experience unfortunately left room for much improvement. Me and my partner were met by a young man in the reception with a bad attitude. "Elite Hotel Martenson is situated in old town Halmstad and walkable from the train station. The central location provides easy access to restaurants, parks, cultural events, public facilities and a short bicycle ride to a beautiful beach. The hotel itself was very quaint, well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurants on site provided another excellent amenity. Although we did not get a chance to use the gym it was probably one of the best equipped we’ve seen"

"Our stay was incredible- exceeded our expectations. The facilities are top-notch, from the state-of-the-art gym and training facility, golf facilities, hot tub, and sauna. Truly relaxing with a view of the sea from every space, including our room, the restaurant, and the sauna! The complimentary breakfast was incredible, as were the dinners, with a sunset view over the water as we enjoyed the amazing food. Walking to the beach on quiet trails was another highlight. We will be back, without a doubt- highly recommend to anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle, good food, and relaxation by the seaside!"

"Absolutely perfect little hotel. Very unusual ( in a good way ) feels like the right kind of place for this wonderful little town. Staff is wonderful , breakfast almost unrivaled. Feels like one of the wonderfully old school bed and breakfast places you probably read about. Cheers !"
