Modern but with significant flaws
Posted 24 Feb 2024 on HotelsI stayed there because my usual hotels were all taken during the Africa Cup of Nations. This place was overpriced given the rooms and the overall experience, but given the context I can forgive that.
However, the Wifi is not very good in the rooms. There was an access point just 5m away from my room but it still regularly stopped working, making even basic video or audio calls difficult at times. The food was a big disappointment in terms of quality, esp. for the very high price asked, and I ended up going to the multiple kabob places nearby almost every night. The lunch buffet was decent though.
Service varied significantly. I had a good experience overall but my colleague didn't, so a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms are pretty loud, I could hear people talking in the hallway and in the rooms next door really well.
Overall, it's OK but the quality/price ratio just isn't there IMO.

The one thing that the hotel didn’t have was a computer room. I was not able to find a workable computer since I was not able to access my computer due to restrictions. Other than that all was great and will give them a 4 out of 5

The hotel is brand new, the furnishings are modern, the rooms are clean and smart looking. The restaurants are very nice, I enjoyed eating on the terrace. The fitness center is excellent, with both cardio (treadmill, bike) and weights. The staff are all very friendly. Its well situated as well. I will definitely return for my next business trip.
