Great location with great staff. Food very good but pricey. No elevators which is not ideal when you’re on the 4th floor with a big bag. Rooms were freezing cold when we got there although they did warm up eventually. Could only stand up on one side of the room due to the ceiling slope. Overall a good stay with a few surprises.

Arrived at 6 o’clock to be told no room in restraunt for the night had to eat in bar and no other places to eat in town don’t mind eating in bar but it did have a dog in it and locals wasn’t really a copy eat

Great location, nice staff, comfortable rooms and delicious restaurant. Breakfast was the best we had in Scotland in our whole 10 day trip. We took a morning walk along the river. Great location for the distilleries as well.

Posted 11 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe’ve stayed here a couple of times as room spotless and comfortable. Food was great and breakfast plentiful. Overall an excellent place to stay, the only slight issue which in the grand scale of things is only a small point but for evening meal clearing plates slow and empty glasses left for whole meal, just a little more attention to detail but won’t stop us returning.
