High-end country pub with excellent restaurant, the perfect weekend get away slot. Lovely staff, good service and near to a real-life castle.
Although I recommend avoiding the room with a bathroom upstairs - cool initially but ultimately annoying in the middle of the night.

Great location to stay with a dog; dog allowed in front area of restaurant; plenty of dog bowls available and brown towel for dog in the room; nice walk along the river.

Posted 11 Aug 2024 on HotelsAmazing stay, beautiful place and so quiet. Dolly (our dog) was also with us and didnt want to leave. Had the ensuite attic room - huge with views of the brige.
