The location is close to the center in a quiet area. The grounds are very nice and the pools are clean. The rooms are of decent size but our bathroom was rundown and the minibar described as a refrigerator was in fact a malfunctioning old minibar. Overall, the hotel inside bears wear and tear and qualifies it to no more than 3 stars. Manager Grigoio was very cordial and helpful and did his best.

What I really egret more of your stay here at Hotel Terme Orvieto is that you didn't try nor once our restaurant: this is the place where we proudly earn our 4th star. Another thing you didn't try are our thermal treatments and wellness massages. So, I respect your opinion about our hotel, but don't you think that to value proper our work and our structure at least you should have tried our best services?
I hope to host you here again in another occasion and I'm sure that you will change your mind about us by trying also other aspects you didn't consider.

Nice hotel

Pros: Thermal pools
Cons: No bathrobes.
Location: Very small and cosy city.
Nice spa-hotel. Great swimming pools with thermal water. Nice breakfast. Very good diner for 23 euro per person. They claimed as 4* spa-hotel, but did not provide spa bathrobes and flip-flops. I think it is basic for four star spa-hotel. Swimming cap cost 2 euro if you do not have your own.

Pros: Rooms were very nice and clean.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Decoration is a bit dated
Location: Lovely countryside area
We had a lovely time in the area - spent most of our time outside of the hotel

Nice hot-springs hotel

Pros: Hot springs pool
Location: historic center of Padua
I stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It is little bit ran down inside and doesn't feel like a four star hotel. However it has a great private hot springs pool as part of the hotel and the staff is just wonderful. I enjoyed my time here and spent few hours in the Sulfer-rich hot springs pool. The hotel is only about 15 miles from the city of Padua but it takes more than half an hour to drive there because of the traffic. I took the public bus and it took 55 minutes each way during the rush hour. My room was half-board so included one free meal everyday in addition to the breakfast. The food was very good and plenty so I definitely recommend choosing the half-board accommodation-it is well worth the extra few euros..
