Don't be fooled by high ratings posted regarding the hotel. It is completely run down. The room we stayed in needed to be leveled and rebuilt. The toilet was shaking as you sit down on it, the shower head was hanging on the floor, the sink was coming away from the wall, the door frame looked like a pack of wild animals was gnawing on it for food, the walls were covered in dead insect carcass. The breakfast which was included was not fit to eat. Ice cold, greasy.the bread was as stale as it could possibly get. Even the coffee wasn't drinkable. This place looks very pretty from the outside, but completely rotten from the inside. I am NOT a picky traveller or a picky eater and i have never posted a bad review. But this hotel needs to close, rebuilt, and then open back up.

Pleasant professionally run hotel, lovely grounds and traditional setting, convenient for a run to the desert at Merzouga.

Tizimi
Posted 24 Jul 2018 on HotelsGranted we chose to travel mid summer in the desert. But knowing the temps went to high 40s, we chose a hotel, a bit away from the main street, because it had a pool and air con. The pool was lovely. We had an upstairs room with the heat rising into it from below. Unfortunately the air con struggled although it kept the heat from 48 outside to a still unbearably hot 30 or more. Both of us had little sleep. Sweat running off you all night..the air con could barely be felt every standing in front of it
Lovely breakfast, nice pool. Little option for veggie/vegan meal and quite high prices for what was offered. We went into town and found a lovely meal.
Nice old building, lovely courtyard, garden. Friendly staff.

Thank you for taking time to participate with your comment .Thanks to people like you , our services keep improving continuously. The summer in Erfoud ,as you have noticed , gets too hot which is one of the most beautiful qualities of this region , we hope to see you again next time you visit Morocco .

Very nice and polite staffs, the room is spacious with all equipments that you expect in a comfort hotel. However everything is too old, which is not my flavor. The dinner tasted as plain as prepared by a untrained high school student. Not tasted bad frankly, just plain.

First of all , thank you for taking the time to evaluate our service and participate . Hotel kasbah Tizimi is located in the Sahar desert region , its decoration is a mixer between modern and the Moroccan Culture history ( the Kasbah style ) .
