Staff excellent, location fab. Only thing missing was a kettle in the room (which I missed!) easy walking into city centre, and on the waterfront.

Sustainable hotel with luxury experience

The hotel fits in with the nearby industrial harbor environment as well as providing an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. The location is convenient to walk or bike to restaurants or the old town. We appreciated the many ways the hotel is operating sustainably including the keyless door system. We would stay here again.

Beware of hidden costs.
Posted 3 Jul 2024 on HotelsThe hotel was really nice. It was the hidden fees that bothered us. It cost us $20 to park the car overnight. Breakfast cost us $50 ($25 a piece) even though hotels.com said there was only a fee for breakfast on weekends. We were there on a Tuesday. The breakfast buffet was good, but not worth that price. Hardly any fruit.
The staff was kind. The room was small but nice.

The staff at Pier 5 were fantastic! The room was comfortable and clean, the tv had the mirroring function so we weren’t beholden to watching shows in Danish, a language we don’t know. Being right on the water was wonderful, there are great paths along the waterfront, good restaurants nearby, and historic sights within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!
