"The most superb stay for my wife’s 60th. No16 oozes history. The period detail is exquisite. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The dining experience was excellent. "We chose Leighton House because it had free onsite parking while still being walkable to the center of town. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Great shower. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great for us - very quiet with little traffic going by, yet still only ~15 minute easy walk into the town, where we went for a spa visit and dinner. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend!"

"The property was outstanding from the room & bed to the Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfast. Fresh slices of cake were placed in the room daily, which was a lovely personal touch. The room also had smart TV with Netflix available. The owner was amazing with his knowledge and tips for the tourist attractions, eating out and local sites to see. We had laundry washed, folded and put back in room for a small fee. Would highly recommend this property, I doubt you could find better. "
