"Quick check in. Nice bar. Clean. Comfy bed. Bit noisy in corridors at times and not a fan of the separate toilet & shower. The handheld shower wouldnt point down so it just fired water out aggressively and leaked out the shower."

"This was my second visit to Edinburgh and my first stay at the Apex Waterloo and I loved it! The hotel is well situated in the center of the city and close to all the major attractions. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff are very welcoming and sweet. The sauna, steam room and pool are terrific. And I booked a room with a tub large enough for two people and it was a lovely treat! I highly recommend Apex Waterloo for a fantastic stay! "

"The view from my room onto the castle was lovely, and the location is really central. It can get a bit noisy though since it’s on a main Street. "

"A short weekend break. Stayed 2 night. Staff were good, restaurant staff excellent. Breakfast was usual high standard. Pool too small and misleading to say its a spa .. no spa treatments, only independent masseuse, who was not on premises during our stay."
