"Great stay, comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional. The food at the hotel was better than I expected, so I ended up having dinner both nights. The location is great, a nice walk to some local attractions, like the Theatro da Paz, Estação das Docas, etc"

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, lots of fruit fresh pastries, eggs, bacon. The building has 30 floors. We were on floor 15. Quite with a balcony. The building is dated and has a funky smell in the halls. Lots of hot water and pressure. Location is good for an evening walk to restaurants. The 4th floor of the mall has some great (white table cloth) restaurants. Overall the rooms are ok and functional. You are nit going to impress your wife with the first...

"Very elegant hotel in Belem"

"Despite the short stay we were able to enjoy Belem despite its reputation for being an unsafe city. Though most residents only speak Portuguese, we who speak English only were able to communicate with almost all those we approached. The people were very friendly."
