The villa we stayed in was exceptional, I have stayed in many places and this is at the top of the list. Do yourself a favour and book in to Erakor it is truly exceptional, you will not want to leave. We didn’t want to leave and have decided to come back again. "

"Coco Beach resort is a small, quiet and local property. It’s out of town which is great if you are after a quiet experience, and you can snorkel the reef in front of the property. Negatives are the road from town (holes and potholes). The cost of food at the restaurant is also pretty high. If you have expectations of an international chain style accommodation, you will be disappointed. However it is a lovely, basic resort which is warm and welcoming. "Although the weather was not perfect, we had a delightful holiday here. Tony, the hotel owner, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and activities. However, the hotel staff would need additional professional training. During our first hour at the hotel, I sustained an injury while attempting to borrow a surfboard. We had a great time there with Breakas within close distance for food and cocktails on the beach front. "The highlight is the fantastic reef snorkelling at a nearby beach - about a 30 minute walk from the resort. The staff and local community were very welcoming and happy to have a chat and show you around. However probably don’t go if you are bothered by getting too close to nature - i.e rats in your room - as the resort is in the bush and rooms are ‘rustic village’ style and reasonably open to the elements. I liked it but didn’t sleep much! "

"We stayed for 5 nights with Petter and Anne and we couldn't speak more highly of our experience. As hosts, Petter and Anne were fabulous.
