"I was surprised the first night, the body wash and the shampoo's refillable container were empty. The cleaning staff did not recharge de body wash neither on the second night and did not replenish the cooffe and complement sugar. In addition they left dirty the coffee cup that I used."

Meticulously clean throughout, spacious bedroom, breakfast buffet has plenty of choice and is of very good quality. "They need to renew the facilities and their furniture. The upholstery of the furniture gives a bad impression although in its heyday it must have been a luxurious hotel. Because of the location, if you invested in its facilities, it would be better than any hotel near the Danube. However, it is worth staying there."

"This hotel is in a great location, not very busy but convenient to reach restaurants and transport. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The only reason I have 4 stars and not 5 is because to have an evening drink you have to go into the attached restaurant where most people are eating, because there is no hotel bar. I would stay again and recommend."

"I recently stayed at Barcelo Hotel and had a generally positive experience, though with a few areas that could be improved. The hotel has a distinctive layout that made it stand out. It felt fresh and different compared to other places I've stayed. One thing I really appreciated was that there were plenty of towels in the room, which was great for convenience. Unfortunately, the rooms were not soundproof, and I could hear people talking and walking down the corridor, which was a bit disruptive...
