"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing: plenty of food choices and Finnish specialties including the Karelian pie (and veggie option of that even). The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with maintaining a hint of their prison history. The associated part of the building is almost a community: a gym, a spa, bakery, restaurants, shops and a funicular going downhill to the river. Highly recommended, and definitely will stay...

"Incredible Hotel and service, the rooms were fantastic, and being so close to the look out was great - great sledging with the kids / food was brilliant at the restaurant and the access to Santa Park was ideal. Highly Recommend this place, we stayed in Santa Village for 2 nights and here for a further 2 - was without a doubt best part of the trip. "

"It was cloudy so we didn’t see anything that night but the place was great. Food was fabulous and staff were really accommodating. The igloos are cool to stay in and whilst not big you expect that as it’s the novelty you’re paying for really. Close to santa claus village also. "

"Fantastic location in the Pyynikki lakeside and national park area, just a short trip from Tampere city centre. We were warmly welcomed with our dogs. The room was very clean with a fully functioning kitchen, a washing machine and a nice balcony. Breakfast was good, better on the weekend than weekday morning. The only minus was the beds - one thin pillow per person didn't provide enough comfort. And there were no bin bags in the kitchen."

"bathroom sink did not drain properly, poor shower pressure, stain on duvet cover, room too hot and A/C control did not go below 22 degrees"

"A nice hotel in the center of the city. The AC wasnt working when we stayed there and that was inconvenient during warm nights, but they they got it fixed within days."
